Good for you for being so careful in selecting your dachshund, as there are far too many bad breeders out there.

I can assure you that Maryann is a wonderful breeder.  She is not only a compassionate and warm person, but also has an incredible love for animals in general, dachsies in particular.  I have had dachsies for 45 years, so am smitten with the breed and love them like they are my children.  I was so blessed to find her 6 years ago when one of ours had to be put down at age 16, and the other was nearing the end of his life.  My brother and I were both looking for a new pup at the time, and ended up with her litter of three.  He took a female and I took a male and female.  Spanky, Snickers and Peanut have been such wonderful additons to our families.  Since then, I sent a friend to see her to get their first dachsie, and they are ready to get their second, plus we went back last summer to add to our family again, this time with our first long haired sweetie, Sadie. 

Maryann is a wonderful breeder.  She keeps great records and cares for her dogs, carefully spacing breeding and not over-breeding her females.  Both mothers and fathers are healthy, loved dogs and it can be seen in the puppies.  Her love and care for breeding are evident in the pups I've gotten from her and the way they've adapted after "adoption" into our homes.  I'm sure you will be very happy with the new addition to your family, too.
